This will be my last trip in the van before going to Ireland. The venue this time is Brick Kiln Farm and I’m going with no electrical gear or hookup so I can test all the gas stuff out.

The gas central heating is on at the moment – it’s really rare for me to use it as it will empty a 907 gas bottle in 22 hours (they now cost £26.99 to fill up). In any case the van is well insulated and rarely needs any additional heat.

My entrance to the site was not without problems as the van got stuck in a slightly watery field. It dropped 6 inches into the soil during our attempts to rock it free, resulting in a tractor being needed to pull it out.

Oh well 🙂 at least all is OK now. I’ve been to Wickham Market for lovely cod and chips, and it will shortly be beer o’clock!
