[/countdown]The clock has ticked by very quickly, it’s now only one week to go as I write this before I’ll be driving through the countryside and forests looking for Saint-Amand-les-Eaux in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France.

Most of the prerequisites have been carried out, such as converting the headlamps to left hand drive side. There are a few odd jobs to do such as fill the water tank and sort out some food items. This can all be carried out tomorrow, and I will give the van a much needed wash down as well.

The longer term weather forecast for my week away is going to be “cool”. The forecast for Valenciennes (the nearest town to the commune of Saint-Amand-les-Eaux) is showing 7C max and 1C min for Saturday 16th March. Unfortunately the forecast for the venues is one of rain so I may have to wrap up well for my strolls in the forest!
